I’ll read!

I’ll help :)

I’ll help.

I could help in proofreading and grammar related stuff.

I can read!

I’ll read essays! I’ll give constructive criticism. Fair warning, if you can’t use ‘their’ or ‘your’ properly I may question your ability to go to college.

My strengths: Writing style, depth, clarity, grammar, detail/content balance, language/vocab
Weaknesses: Spelling, but thank god for Auto-correct!

Looking for readers! Look at my thread for background info. Cant PM so email me botejustin @ yahoo.com for those interested.

I’ll be willing to read it. Be warned: I will give my honest opinion, and it may hurt your feelings :p

Would someone be willing to ready my transfer essay. Its only 250 words so it is kind of short. Just general feed back like if it is convincing or not is more than enough. You don’t have to go all out and edit it. Thanks.

I am back in the US and am willing to read essays under the following conditions:
- I will edit one essay per student.
- Please provide the prompt; I am not clairvoyant.
- Essay must be nearly a final draft, with grammar, spelling and syntax correct.
- I refuse to soft-pedal my recommendations/corrections. If you’re looking for an editor to tell you it’s perfect, I am not that editor. However, my students tell me my advice has improved their essays.

Hey guys I highly recommend debski if you are looking to improve your essays. Mine were soo much better in every regard after they were edited!

I’m not graduated, but my essay is set in stone! More than willing to read

Could you PM me your email address? I’ve just made my account and haven’t enough posts to PM another user.

It is gmail.

Also, reminder to everyone…

1) Don’t trust posters with only a few posts unless they can email verify
2)** If you don’t have enough posts to PM, then GET ENOUGH. Takes 10 minutes people…**

When asking radronOmega for essay help, be sure to ask for the +everything else option :)

This is a great thread but it’s filled with a lot of posts.
I thought I would try and consolidate an updated list of everyone who has expressed a willingness to read essays.
The following people have been active on CC sometime within 2013 and are listed by the page they first posted on.
As always, be sure to verify the person’s account before sending him/her your essay and please be courteous. Since some of these accounts haven’t been in use for a while, I would recommend that you first PM the person to see if he/she is still willing to read essays. I also advise that you look through some of the posts to see if some readers have certain guidelines for essay submission.

Apologies for any mistakes I may have made.
Please remember to double check things for yourself before sending your essay(s) off!!

**Except 90% of the people who offered to help are either inactive now or scams to begin with.

You need to do your DUE DILIGENCE in finding who are the right people by looking through peoples’ post counts and having them vetted by other readers with HIGH post counts. Not through some blind “master list.” I have a list earlier in this thread that I’ll re-post later. ahleesuh is going through the process ENTIRELY wrong.**

but I can not send my e-mail!

I’ll read some also!
Btw I know my post count is low. I had to get a new account because some people I knew in real life found my cc…

i want someone to read my essay I have been called many things in my life. These range from praises to phrases that I can not dare to repeat, but never before had I ever been called ‘intense’ until the day I walked in to the office of the dean attempting to an aspect of my service project approved. Who this man was is irrelevant other than then fact that he was a vital member of my Jesuit high school, Belen Jesuit Preparatory. Taken by my rushed aurora, he remarked, “Oh, YOU are the Habitat for Humanity. I’ve heard about you. You are intense.” I had to hold my boiling wit back before my tongue spat something back that I would regret. I felt thoroughly insulted, yet did not even comprehend what it meant to be regarded as ‘intense.’
Because of the charity that I started at my school, I believe I have been able to know and achieve what it means to be a ‘man for others.’ Through this experience, I was able to learn what seven years of religion class and ten years as an altar server was never able to teach me. I got to know Jesus. I walked with him. I worked beside him; occasionally, we shared conversations. I owe this all to my journey with the Belen Jesuit Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter.
In the inaugural year of my journey with the organization, I was able to explore fields of interest that were foreign to me and most boys my age. I was able to break away from what I regarded as my passions: water polo, doing research at food labs, shadowing surgeons, observing scoliosis surgeries, competing at National Model United Competitions, and spending time with my friends in our own perfect bubble of a world. The high school group, spear-headed by ‘Mr. Intense,’ took it upon ourselves to start the Building Hope Fund in order to raise $50,000 for a home sponsorship on behalf of our school. It would be the first time any school (secondary or collegiate) would take on a task this grand in South Florida.
So we reached out to the vast alumni network at our school. It was through communication with these fellow wolverines that I was able to hone my communication and occasionally bartering skills. I was afforded the opportunity to speak to various influential members of our community such as U.S. Representatives Ileana Ros-Leihtinan and Joe Garcia in an attempt to arrange build days with our students.
Currently, I am in the works of organizing a large gala, completely organized by students. Names of the potential list of attendees include the World Champion Miami Heat Basketball Team, the up and coming 5th Harmony singing group, Congressmen Joe Garcia, Ileana Ros-Leitinan, Bill Nelson, and various influential alumni in the South Florida business world. As the club expands, we hope to be able to reach our goal by the end of this year, so that the following year our school will be able to say, “That house there was built by our student, from the ground-up.”
A year later, I hold my title proudly, and I continue to do nothing other than the ‘intense.’ It is through these many experiences in my life that have shaped who I am as a human, as a man, and as a man of God. My only hope is to be put in circumstances where I will be able to achieve what the Lord ask me to do. And I believe that is to serve, intensely.
