Simply put, I have an IDEA of what I'd like to do with my life, but I'm having a very difficult time narrowing down my options. I really want to start off my career on a positive note.

I am certain that I want to be a consultant. My goal is to eventually direct my own consulting firm that is based on public relations but includes and/or outsources strategy, human resources, marketing, and performance aspects.

However, before entering the workforce, I'd like to pursue a masters degree.

here's my problem:
1) I am not exactly sure which job i should take out of college. This particular question actually scares me. There are so many paths I can take and I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this subject.
2) I want to pursue a masters degree that can genuinely help advance my career. I am thinking about a masters in:

Economics: A social science, not necessarily helpful in public relations, but very helpful in marketing and strategy, also extremely helpful to understand finance.

Public Relations: Likewise.

Marketing: Again, following.

I do hope to earn a masters in Business Administration, but as I take it, that follows a few years of work experience.

So what SHOULD I be doing this last year and a half at college? What internships should I be trying to secure for my senior year? Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
