Well, I want to talk to my regional admissions officer about some things and some questions, and yes, partly so that she will remember my name when looking at my application in a couple weeks. Admissions Office gave me the name/number of her assistant but said they don’t give contact info for admission officers, although a google search yielded an email address, heh. Since they probably don’t give out contact info for a reason, I don’t want to email her. I also know Brown no longer does on-campus interviews, and some of the issues I have, I don’t want to wait until the alumni interview to bring up. How will contacting the assistant work out and, will I be able to talk directly with the regional admissions rep?

I was given the card of my area's rep when I visited last year. My suggestion is contact whoever's information they give, chances are, if it's important enough, then your admissions officer will contact you back directly. If not, dont worry, your questions are answered and your ad-officer knowing your name really doesnt help--it's over rated.

What kind of issues?

Hmm, I e-mailed my regional admissions officer, before and after I met her at the Brown info session, and she was totally cool with it and was super friendly. I say just go for it and e-mail her - the worst she could do is just not reply back to you.

I had a regional admissions officer meet with me at my school and he just gave me his email address . . .
