Contacting college after deferral--is Yale the exception

So I have read countless articles online where a variety of schools say that they like to hear from students they defer in the early round to 1) know they're still interested and 2) get an updated picture of the applicant. As a Yale SCEA deferral, I was wondering if Yale wants to hear from me. I was writing a letter, but then realized that under the "Contact Us" menu, there is really no e-mail address designated for me to send the letter to.

In all honesty, I don't have too much I want to tell them, I just want to show them an art piece that I just completed and am very proud of, and a few officer positions I have recently obtained. Is there any way to provide them with this information?

Thanks :)

Good luck on your eventual Yale decision. My D was also deferred and we are hoping that everything will work out in the end.

You can go to
[Staff Directory | Contact Us | Office of Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.yale.edu/admit/contact/staff.html)
and there is a drop down at the bottom of the page where you can choose the state you are applying from and get the email address of your state rep for Yale.

Hope this helps.

thank you!

I’d fax them at this point. That’s what I did
