I made a mistake on my commonapp and i need to contact their office when they re-open

which e-mail address should I e-mail my changes to?

I’m guessing the error didn’t deal with anything financial aid related if it was on the Common App. Um, I think you’d probably be best off asking student.questions@yale.edu that question, unless someone else knows the address…

I think you should try e-mailing your Admissions Officer, which you can find online on the admissions website. But, just to be sure, I’d call and confirm.

Calling is the easiest. Admissions officers are really busy and probably won’t be answer your emails until some time has passed.

I remember e-mailing a question to both my admissions officer and the general address back in November… student.questions took about a week, but the officer never replied XD

^ Depends on the question. If it’s a correction, then I think sending it to your admissions officer is fine. If it’s a question, then I think it makes more sense to send it to student.questions.

^I sent the correction to my regional admissions officer via email and never got a reply. I sent it to student.questions and they just forwarded the same email to my admissions officer. I still never got a reply, but…I’m guessing that they realized it or corrected it since I wasn’t flat-out rejected…

^ I guess they don’t reply… To be honest, I’m not quite sure who to send it to. After my SCEA acceptance, I sent my admissions officer an e-mail in January and she was very quick in responding. I assumed it’d be the same with corrections.

However, to be completely sure, call the office and ask how to send the corrections. Also ask if you get any confirmation of receipt, to know whether or not it got there.
