Contacting profs

<p>At some of my interviews I've been told to get in touch with professors in subjects that I'm interested, and it sounds like a good idea (at some schools, that is). However, I'm not sure exacty what to say to them...have any of you guys done this, and if so, what did you include in your message?</p>
