Hello, do you think that the admissions office would not like anyone to contact them through email since they have not listed it on their website, even though I still found it? Any help would be appreciated!

You would probably get a faster and more accurate response via phone call. You can try to e-mail them but the response may take longer and not be what your looking for. I have called the admissions office before and there is a slight wait time but they have always been able to answer my questions.

Makes sense to call them, which I’ll try but since I’m an international student and the time difference makes it quite difficult! Does anyone mind helping me by providing their email address, I’ve found one or two but they’re different?

Ignite7,

Here it goes! No wonder you had so much trouble. I called the Undergraduate Admissions Office (1-212-998-4500) and it was sort of like pulling teeth to get an email contact. The student ambassador told me they have no general email contact. It has to go by the type of question, then you are referred to a counselor for a specific school.

The best I was able to do is to get a specific counselor contact for CAS and STERN (not knowing which undergrad school you want to contact). If neither school is what you are looking for, you can still email one of these two admissions counselors and ask the counselor to direct you to the right email contact (based on school).

General admissions questions for:

1) CAS - chris.perlongo@nyu.edu
2) STERN - jackie.gerard@nyu.edu

Hm, that’s weird. I’ve called them before to change my mailing address and the counselor immediately gave me their email. It’s admissions.ops@nyu.edu/email. They replied REALLY quickly, but that was probably because it was mid-July and the office wasn’t so busy.

Wow evolving, thanks a lot!
I was looking for the Stern email account, so what you gave me was perfect!
I appreciate you getting back to me!

Thank you for your input! Do you think I’ll be able to use the email you provided for general admission questions?
