I have some updates to my application, namely becoming a National Merit Finalist, and was wondering where I could find the e-mail for my admissions officer. I've found a phone number but it seems like an e-mail would be more appropriate. Thanks.

Well decisions are coming out pretty soon, so most likely, this information will not affect their decision. The best way to send it would be by regular mail, because the information has to go through admissions before it is put in your folder. No, one person has control over your application (except the dean of course).

Fax it.

In that case, should I just send it to the main admissions officer, or attempt to contact the regional officer?

Hey guise, quick question…

How do I use the fax machine? I know I have to put in that number from Cornell. (I’ve never used one b4, but I’m going to ask my school if I can use theirs.)

What else do I do besides sending in the form? I checked online and it said I need to put a cover sheet with the following information:

Fill out a separate piece of paper called a coversheet with the following information:

recipient’s name

recipient’s fax number/phone number

your name

your phone number

a short message intended for the recipient similar to the subject line of an e-mail

number of pages (including coversheet)

Is that all? thanks for the answer/reassurance.

EDIT: Also, do I have to call and make sure they got it at the other end, or does the machine do that? Do they call me? lol, I sound like a grandma! haha

I actually agree, the best thing to do right now would be to fax it.

Usually you have to do 1 and the area code, but it depends on where you are faxing from. I would ask someone who is with you who has done it before. Cover sheet is good too.

I don’t know…D had some stuff to add about 2 weeks ago and was told to email it to the individual college.

Oh! Well, my thing isnt an admissons thing, its a financial aid thing. I guess that’ll be ok. And the coversheet makes sense. thanks!
