I've heard about this scholarship (?) on their site. What are the qualifications for it? What are they looking for when they award this?

BTW, I'm an out-of-state female, if that helps in any way.

Thanks!

I know nothing about it, but a quick glance at their website retrieved this:

I’m not sure how much you already know from the website but this has quite a bit of info on it.
[The Carolina Covenant ~ The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill](http://www.unc.edu/carolinacovenant/index.php)

Are HS GPA and SAT scores taken into account for this or just being an admitted undergrad and your financial situation?

It seems to me that any admitted student who is eligible gets it. Don’t hold me to that though; I’m not positive.

Any admitted student who falls within the financial eligibility guidelines receives the Carolina Covenant – GPA and SAT are not considered (as long as you are admitted in the first place).

The Carolina Covenant is an excellent program that offers a debt-free college education to students from low-income families. The program combines federal and UNC sources of aid to offer a full financial aid package that includes no loans – it is made up of grants and work study only. Covenant also includes mentoring and community programs to help students transition to and succeed at UNC-Chapel Hill.
