A, probably A or A-

kimchi89 - depends upon how your school grades. For example some schools use a 90+ = A, 80 - 89 =B, and so on. Some schools use a 94+ = A, 88-93 = B, and some use 92+ = A, etc.

I think however a 96 would be considered an A.

I think it would be about a 3.8, Princeton Review has a conversion chart.

a 96 is not a 3.8. In no school have I heard that a 96 is not a 4.0.

Look at how many A's, B's, C's, D's, and F's you have to this point. Your GPA and numeric average are two different forms. To calculate your GPA just follow the scale I provided.

A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
F=0

when i applied to colleges, every school i contacted told me 90=A-, 95=A, 95+=A+. a 96 is a perfect gpa.

Which colleges? I don't see why most of them (outside state schools) would bother redoing your entire GPA instead of just going by your transcript and comparing to school averages.
