I just found out on Monday that I got accepted to Ursinus EA. I don't really know that much about it, but I want to attend a liberal arts college and UC seemed like an excellent safety.

Can any of you offer some information about UC? I am mostly interested in campus life/ traditions, the types of students, what people do on the weekends, party environment, etc. I've done some research about the academics, but I mostly want to know about life beyond the books. I haven't visited, so if you could describe the campus for me, that'd be great.

Thanks! And good luck to you who want to attend.

I’m also interested.
I just received my letter today, and am wondering what about this college makes it stick out from other liberal arts colleges.

First off, I’ll describe the campus. It is basically just one big plot of land that takes no more than 10 minutes to walk from one edge to the other from. From my freshman dorm on the middle of campus, I can see the dining hall, the fitness center, the library, and 3 academic buildings. It’s really pretty and green and most of the buildings are nice looking.

Student life here is not at all what they say at admissions or in those books. In order to have fun here it is almost essential to get involved in something-sports teams are big. Admissions downplays the role of frats and sororities here. There are a fair number of each, some being party frats/sororities, while others are for more academically focused people. But they definitely run the social scene. It seems that people who aren’t involved with greek life or sports have it a little rough here.

This school is a closet party school, and it gets as crazy as you would expect a wet campus with 2,000 kids secluded on it would. The school tries to curtail the craziness with a few rules, such as no beer in pong cups, no kegs, and party registering, but it’s still a lot of fun. If you’re looking for a school that parties hard wed-saturday this probably isnt the place, but friday and saturday (and some thursdays during rush) are always big nights.
