Cook & Becker House

Between Cook and Becker House, which one is better?

Will Bethe actually be inhabitable by next year? If so, would this be more desirable than Cook or Becker?

I know that on the housing application you select "program housing" for Cook & Becker but what room type should you choose? I know that they are suites with singles so do you choose single?

Does anyone live in either of these houses now and like or dislike them?

I think that they have like 360 students or something in each, are they difficult to get into if you choose them on your application?

well Becker and Cook are pretty much the same except that I heard that Becker is all suites where as Cook is a combo of suites and singles, I don't know if this is true though. The new Bethe house will be inhabitable when we get back from Christmas break this January 2007.

What about next fall?

-- Yes, it (Bethe) will be inhabitable next fall. :)

-- I currently live in Becker. We're a combination of suites, doubles, and singles. I personally love Becker--it's a nice small community, I've gotten to know some of the House professors, the GRF system is wonderful, the pantry rocks, we do a lot of house activities that are free to residents, etc etc etc.

-- Getting into Becker was very difficult for upperclassmen this year--so many people wanted to live here again that there was basically a petition to open up a certain number of beds to rising seniors and juniors during the housing lottery. It's a bit easier to get in as a rising sophomore.

-- I don't know if Bethe would be more desirable than the others. Yes, it's new construction and right next to the new Noyes. But all three houses are worth considering.

hahaha I cannot read...I misread it as uninhabitable...yea...
