Cool languages to learn

<p>I am currently freshman high school and I am interested in taking up another language in the summer. I am fluent in 3 languages and currently learning level 2/level 3 Spanish at school. I don't really have a preference of the language to learn; I just think it's fun & want to learn a really unique and interesting language... any suggestions?</p>

My dad’s got a bunch of friends from the Philippines, but they all call it Tagalog*, never heard it referred to as Filipino.</p>

<p>*Had to look up spelling, as the pronunciation is much different.</p>

<p>If you want to be truly Omnilingual, you need to know Arabic, Hindi, German, Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish. Those cover pretty much all people groups.</p>

<p>If you want something that’s actually useful… go for Arabic, Mandarin, or Hindi.</p>

<p>I am thinking about French, Swahili, Swedish, or Arabic. Or maybe Italian, but I’m worried that ill confuse it with Spanish and it’ll be a pain in the a**, what do you guys think?</p>
