Getting into The Cooper Union

I'm interested in getting into Cooper's Civil Engineering program. I'd like to know my odds of getting admitted.

In my freshman year, I took Global History, Algebra, Spanish, and, English Honors. My overall average was ~97% unweighted and 99 weighted.

In my sophomore year, I took Earth Science, Geometry, Spanish, and English Honors, while taking AP European History. I got a 5 on the euro exam. My average was about ~96 unweighted and 100 weighted.

I am now (junior year) taking APUSH, and Pre Calc Honors, Trig Honors, English Honors, Spanish Honors, and Chemistry Honors. I have yet to get back any grades.

My algebra grade (honors) was 94 in class and 93 on the NYS Regents Exam.
My geometry grade (honors) was 91 in class and 91 on the NYS regents exam.
My biology grade was 97 in class (regular, not honors) and 94 on the NYS regents.
My Earth science grade was 97 in class (honors) and 96 on the NYS regents.

I go to st. Anthony's HS in So. Huntington, N.Y.

I took an SAT in 7th grade and got ~1500.

I am planning on taking the math I sat II and the chem sat II.

Please be brutally frank. Thank you.

Not possible with that SAT.

8% Acceptance rate at Cooper.

It is a very hard school to get into. I would say definitely bump your SAT to about a 2200.

Guy over there: I know that. That SAT was kind of an exhibition test in 7th grade. I’m planning on taking mu first legitimate SAT in the spring. Do you think that my grades are good enough, just at first glance, though?

I would definitely advise you to push yourself in Junior year. Anything is possible. 97 Unweighted is amazing and I commend your efforts so far.
