the rude admission representative told me they will mail decisions in the first week of april

oh wow mailed..... thats gunna take forever..
and how do you know all of your materials have reached the admission office?
cuz i'm scared something is missing but could not find a way to verify it..

and again the rude admission representative told that u dont need to worry.if anythings missing we will contact u

i know what you mean. i sent my stuff in like 5 days before the due date, and they didnt send any confirmation, so i was worried. i guess we just have to wait and see now

some people get calls a few days before and then acceptance letters are rush-delivered and everyone who gets in finds out on the same day. if you are rejected, you probably will get your letters a little bit later. this year a lot more people applied than normal so..best of luck.

do we have to send in finaid stuff for cooper union.

i feel like they give us no direction at all for their admissions.

i don't think so, it's free. maybe when you sign up for housing.

do you know when the people last year found out?

buuuuuuuuuump

When I went to the open house, they did discuss financial aid, specifically FAFSA, for housing, yes. I believe it's due May sometime?

i just called them up and they say they have mailed the decisions and it will be at ur doorstep anytime soon!!

thanks for the info..
but what about intl students.. ahh it'll take longer no?
and how come cooper union threads are so dead

btw even i am an intel and they mail the decisions to the us address u provided on ur app
so it takes the same time
exactly cooper is so dead!!
also which school did u apply to and what r ur stats???

I was rejected :( - Engineering
M-CR-WR =
800-610-630
SAT IIs Math II - 800, Physics 790
GPA 3.6ish

so is there an accepted/rejected thread..?

This forum is pretty quiet because, well, it's a pretty small school, that doesn't get too much nationwide attention in general.

Does cooper still notify students by snail mail?

Snail mail means "Rejected!

Priolity Mail means "Accepted!

My friend’s boy was accepted in engineering (RD)
GPA: 4.4(W)
SAT I: 2300
SAT II: 800/800
EC: +200hrs
Essay: Solid & Pro

Are there any people applying for Cooper Union Art school. I was wondering if anyone knows what are the academic stats for art student to get into Cooper Union. Do you have to have basic or can you be below average grades, but have excellent art work?
I do know a person who got decline from Cooper Union Art school they had a 4.0! My grades point average is in the C- range. I have been to National Portfolio Day and colleges who issue points gave me 5 out 5 on my art portfolio. Lastly, what does “deferred” mean, how do you get that?
