How do you properly calculate both Core GPA and Cumulative GPA?

core if your gpa for one quater , EX: One quater of straight As is a 4.0
But the next quater i slip up and get a 3.0
Cumulative would be 3.5

I really dont know. I got a few b’s in the quarters mixed with a’s, but all my final (cumulative?) grades were A’s. And all of my B’s were 92s. (my school is on the seven point scale so a 92 = b.)

EDIT:
Completely misread this. I dont know what core GPA is but Cumulative at my school is each quarter grade combined with your exam grade. Exams are 25% maybe, and the rest is the combined grade.

I think most schools are different so you’d have to check with your school

thanks alot guys
