<p>Hi, lulu. There is not a sure thing in terms of admission.</p>
<p>My DD has 34 ACT, 800 in SAT II Physics and Math II, plus a perfect 4.0 GPA with at least 10 AP. Her E/c includes many community service awards and some national level awards. We are praying every day that she could get in schools such as Vandy.</p>
<p>I got notification for the lanier scholarship, did anyone else?</p>

<p>Its says mid feb... either you didn't get it, they havnt sent them out yet or both... my bet is that mid feb was an estimate and they will send them out soon...</p>

<p>It seems from this quote from the FAQs section of the website that Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholars do not need an additional interview.</p>

Ingram Scholarship recipients will be notified of their selection in early March of their senior year, following an on-campus interview program for finalists in late February. Recipients of the Chancellors Scholarship, the Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship, or any additional merit scholarships will be notified in late March of their senior year."</p>
<p>The quotation is misleading... several places on the site have stated that notification is in mid-february with interviews in mid-march and the recipients are notified in late-march.</p>
<p>^^^Except for engineering students; they still do not have to interview, if I am not mistaken.</p>
<p>I got an email just now inviting me to the Cornelius Vanderbilt scholarship event March 16-18. The letter said that there are 50 finalists. Good luck everyone!</p>
