I see an email in my daughter’s inbox from Scholarships with subject Update on Cornelius Vanderbilt and Chancellor’s scholarships. I’m not opening it…as hard as it is!
Usually the kids who are notified in the afternoon are winners and everyone else is emailed later…guess that means a no for me 
All the people that I’ve seen who’ve received emails so far (on reddit and on here) have been rejected.
Another person who said they received an email unfortunately got a “no”…so maybe they are reversing and sending “no’s” first this year! I wont know until my daughter gets home later today.
The email came at 4:59pm EST

I’d love to know what the reasoning is behind how they send emails. Not sure why they wouldn’t just send them all at the same time like schools do admission decisions.
