Cornell AEM transfer

Hey guys, I'm an upcoming student in my flagship state university, but am still looking to transfer into cornell or another top-20 college after my freshman year (a plethora of problems prevented me from even applying to many of them, despite good grades and a good SAT score). Seeing as Cornell is stringent upon completing the required and highly recommended courses prior to transferring, I was wondering how the "One full year of Introductory Biology" component worked. What qualifies as Introductory Biology (I'd assume any general-ed class under the biological science, but its not really specified on the webpage)? I signed up for an introduction to biological anthropology class (which is registered under the biological sciences), and I was wondering if that qualified as an introductory biology course. Of course, seeing as I dislike biology altogether (but still anthropology relates the closest to my interests), I'd be willing to switch to the course "biological sciences" if introduction to biological anthropology would not be considered an Introductory Biology class.

Thanks for the help in advance, and I hope to see you guys in 2014!

s’il vous plait!

I don’t know if anthropology counts as a biological science at Cornell… in CALS it counts as a Social Science. Biological sciences are like ecology, plant science, entomology, etc. However, there are easy classes for it. I’m in Comm and AEM and I took a class about mushrooms - that fulfilled the requirement.
