Cornell AEM VS NYU STERN.

What school is better when it comes to business, placement, student environment? Which school is more cutthroat and gives you a better chance at a high paying job on Wall Street? Thanks. Overall.... which is the better school?

Cornell aem.

Doc

I don’t have a single bad thing to say about Stern … but …

Cornell has a much better reputation overall and has much more clout with the wall-streeters. AEM has a fantastic reputation (as does Stern).

Given the questions you ask – not even a close call.

Stern places better but the competition there is crazy. Everyone in Stern is gunning for Wall Street, especially banking and Trading.

I was thinking of going to investment banking and ask if Cornell has a upper hand in it since it has been increasing in ranks as well as it being an ivy league school or stern since it is all about finance?

Stern definitely has better wall-street connections and most grads are aiming for high powered jobs…it’s a very serious program, probably much more academically rigorous than AEM. But in reality, when it comes to business majors, the differences between undergrad programs is marginal; your character traits and personal skills will take you much further in the industry.

Not true, I’d say AEM has slightly better individual connections - other than its locational disadvantage
“…it’s a very serious program, probably much more academically rigorous than AEM.”
I agree here.
