-10 AP courses (chem, calc ab and bc, bio, lang, ush, physics, economics, stats, gov)

qualitatives
-ice hockey captain of high school team
-captain of travel team (extremely serious) 50/60 hours a week… Full weekends
-volunteer for special needs hockey players 2 hours/week most sunday nights. weeklong summer camp 2 summer’s in a row
-volunteer 6 hours a week during summer clearing invasive plant species from local park… (its hard work)
-strong creative writing skills should help essays

Im guessing i have a small chance at cornell, slim to none at dartmouth? thanks!!!

Ivies are a complete crapshoot in terms of admissions. You have a strong SAT score, good GPA, and clearly rigorous because of all the APs (although I can’t compare it in the context of your high school- do you know if your schedule would be ranked most rigorous?)

You have few extracurriculars, good but not particularly outstanding in terms of admissions. I would say apply, but both schools are reaches for sure.

thanks a lot for the reply. Yes my schedule is extremely rigorous for my school, i think the best part of my app is my course load
