I was reading the Freshman requirements for Cornell's arts and science college: Freshman Requirements , and I noticed I have all but the three foreign language credits.

I have only two years of foreign language and then I changed high schools. The new high school I am at is a type of magnet school, and the curriculum was structured out completely with no requirements for foreign language. You could take it as an elective, but that would be only it. As an elective. I did not take it as an elective because of course differences, and I wished to take other challenging classes in lieu of it.

In the paragraph, it said to mention any deficiencies by letter, but I was wondering how much of a negative impact this will have on my application this coming fall.
