Senior Year

Hello everyone, so I was admitted to Cornell ED, and originally in my application, I wrote that I was going to take three trimesters of English as a senior (1 full year). However, there is an art/history/art history elective that I really want to take, do you think that it'd be an acceptable substitution? My other classes are: AP Compsci, AP Physics C (both E&M), AP US History, and a music elective.

The Freshman Admissions Requirements above say that I need "4 credits" of English- does that translate to a full four years? Currently I have done 3 full years and 2/3 of senior year. I called Cornell yesterday and they told me they'd prefer an email, so I sent one and I have yet to get back a response.. any advice?
I'd really like to take this class, but I'm worried that Cornell will rescind acceptance because I don't make requirements. Are these requirements pretty strict? What is really equivalent to 1 unit?
Thanks in advance.
