Cornell CALS Environmental Science vs Berkeley College of Natural Resources

Does anyone have any comparisons/preferences specific to these two areas within Berkeley and Cornell? Which is stronger, which offers better opportunities, more well-known, personal experiences, etc. I'm debating between committing to these two schools at the moment. Any helpful comments would be appreciated.

I don’t know about environmental science, but in terms of prestige, you can’t go wrong with Cornell or Berkeley. Both are top-notch, known internationally, and offer unparalleled undergraduate experiences and opportunities. The biggest difference would probably be location, Northeast vs. Cali. Cornell is the Berkeley of the Ivies.

I’m from California and I’m not a huge fan of the cold, to say the least, but I’m looking for the rural/outdoorsy/small college town environment of Cornell rather than the huge city of Berkeley. So everything else aside, it’s between better weather or a more rural location.

Don’t people go to Davis in California if they want to study environment sciences?

Cornell is like the Davis of California. And the Berkeley. And Dartmouth. All rolled up into one.
