Any advice on which school I should choose? I live in California and would like to go to the east coast, but don't know if I can deal with the upstate-NY Ithaca weather...

I plan to major in environmental science, maybe with a double major in a foreign language. I want to be in a sorority, and I plan on playing intramural sports. I am focused academically, and I definitely have a work hard play hard mentality.

Any suggestions? Please help me I only have a little less than a week to decide!

Cornell has great environmental programs and extensive and challenging foreign language
offerings.
It has a beautiful campus, students with a great diversity of interests, talents and backgrounds, and a classic college town. The weather, especially for a Californian, might be a big adjustment. The different seasons are beautiful, and lots of people love the snow. Just remember, this is only 4 years of your life, and most people can cope with cold weather for a finite period of time. You can always return to CA with an Ivy League degree in your pocket.
