<p>A question regarding the Freshman admissions requirements for the College of Arts and Science at Cornell - apparently they require 3 language credits. My school offers online classes during predefined periods, but they run on a block schedule, independent of the rest of the school. I have 2 language credits at the moment (currently a senior) and intend to take SPN III my second semester to fufill the language requirement. I'm wondering how I can substantively indicate this on my application...online class registration is actually done mid-year if you want to take another second semester. How would I get this data to them? They require a "letter" explaining deficiencies, should I send one as clarification?</p>

<p>The Common App (used by Cornell) requires applicants to list all classes for senior year. You will include SPN III in this section which will indicate your fulfillment of the requirement.</p>
<p>I would discourage you from sending a letter explaining the “deficiency”, since none exists. But if you sleep better knowing that you included such a letter, then feel free.</p>
