Do I have any shot at Cornell CAS? I hear they have a 9% transfer acceptance rate? My teacher evaluations were excellent, the professors checked all the boxes labeled "top 1% I've ever encountered" and wrote outstanding comments. Also, on my mid-term report, all of the professors wrote incredible comments for me, even the ones who had just met me.

Also for my essays I wrote about how I strive for academic excellence despite my mother's addiction to prescription drugs and not working for the past 6 years and my younger sister's endeavors into the world of drugs, theft (from her own brother! she once stole $300 from me and used it to have a party in the basement with alcohol and pot), alcohol and unprotected sex and how I've used that broken home element to motivate myself.

One huge dilemma though. I filled out my FAFSA and CSS Profile back in Mid-February but I still haven't submitted the Cornell Financial Aid forms. Will get EVERYTHING mailed out tommorow (W-2 Forms, Non-Filing Statement Forms, etc)

And if anyone needs financial aid, I DEFINITELY DO!
Do you think I have any shot at Cornell?
