juxtapose everything you could think of, pros and cons, thanks.

Cornell Pros: Ivy Status. Bigger town (Ithaca is really cool). Gorgeous campus.

Cornell Cons: Some people find it to be a depressing place.

Colgate Pros: Really strong academics. Small class sizes. Gorgeous campus. Good athletics.

Colgate Cons: Tiny town with little to do. The administration is really cracking down on parties and such.

so which would you pick world changer?

Cornell CAS in my opinion. Will help you a lot more later on in life...again, IMO

bump (10 char)

Both schools are well respected by those who know of both, although Cornell is certainly more well known. I would definitely disagree that Cornell "will help you a lot more later on in life" or, at least, this wasn't the case in my experience. If anything, since LACs are smaller, they actually have a lot more alumni network support because it's more unique to go there and is probably why more than 10 LACs have alumni giving of over 50%, while Princeton and Dartmouth are the only nat'l unis (two of the smallest) over 50%.
