Hi! I’ll be applying early decision for the college of human ecology from Wisconsin.
I go to a large, competitive, public school. (3100 students)

GPA: UW: 3.57. W: 4.16
ACT: 32
Extracurriculars:
Lots and lots of community service. About 1500 hours. President of two clubs. Do a lot of advocacy nationally (sorry can’t be specific.)

I totally understand that my GPA is too low and that makes my chances for acceptance fairly slim. I was wondering if there was any chance at all? Especially if I ED?

I think that your GPA is going to make Cornell a rather high reach unless you are a great athlete or URM.

Fortunately you have a great public university in-state in Wisconsin.

Your GPA is not going to meet the minimum thresh hold, so your application is going to get tossed. On the other hand, you may want to check out University of Alabama and University of AZ. You qualify for a near full tuition scholarship out there.
