chances?

Low Reach for both I would say. Man I wish I was black :)

what do you mean by low reach? if you were to put a percentage value to it what would you give?

Low reach as in the school is above your transcript but you at least a have decent shot to get in. Cornell = 30-40% chance? Chicago = 20-25% chance? Don’t take those for gospel I just kinda pulled those outta my ass. Don’t really know much about grades for African Americans

ok, and what do you think of not reporting my AP scores because quite honestly i cant afford it and i didnt do as well as i wouldve like to anyway, so do you think not reporting them will hurt my chances?

Do you mean you can’t afford it financially or can’t afford it because the AP scores are lower than you think they would like? If it is financial, no concern—the colleges don’t expect or want anyone to officially send in their AP scores until AFTER they are accepted and matriculate. You do that this coming spring. (Now SAT/ACT and SAT II scores are a different matter; you need to pay to have those officially sent in now). In the Common App there is a section where you can self-report your AP scores and SAT II scores. Some people on CC have written that you “don’t have to put the Ap scores”. Other CC’ers have written that they would write them in, because the CA asks for your “highest AP scores” and it might look suspicious-ie like you are hiding 1’s and 2’s–if you don’t.

Ok good. Other than that what do you think of my chances?
