<p>I received a thank you for applying letter from human ecology about 3 weeks ago, and I had a current student who called me asking if I had any questions about the school, but I did not hear anything regarding likely emails or such.</p>
<p>I’m sorta losing hope since I didn’t get a letter and 2 of my friends did. Sigh.</p>

<p>Barvoets and MassEngine, my son was deferred from HumEc in December, too. He applied to the department of Human Development. He has a 4.3 weighted GPA and 2110 SAT. All 700+ SAT2. I’m feeling low on hope this week–his classmates with amazing credentials are getting rejections–but in a way it’s easier to have no hope than to have a lot! Good luck to you all!</p>

<p>I didn’t get a likely (and I wasn’t really expecting it because of my 3.85 uwgpa) but I’m really nervous now. I thought I actually had a shot at getting into Cornell but I’m not so sure anymore.</p>
<p>@cbear: atleast you got a likely since you’re URM for CALS? Im suppose to be a female engineer at the CALS… Not sure if females for engineering at CALS are suppose to get one.</p>
