Cornell Class of 2020 Regular Decision Discussion Thread

Does anyone know if international students(neither american citizens nor permanent residents) get diversity likely letters too?

@childish20 no, I didn’t get anything, but I guess this is the curse of being an Indian lol :P.

Congrats to all that have got in so far! :slight_smile: So happy for you guys!!! Don’t worry for all those without LL’s, Ivy Day is still here

I’m an URM and did not receive a LL, does anyone know what percentage of accepted URM’s receive one?? Am I most likely rejected?

Just got my diversity letter! I’m beyond excited.

I got the diversity letter! :slight_smile:

Received it on my way to open my MIT results too. :stuck_out_tongue:

@Anonymoose3 How did MIT go?

My Daughter received email “I am pleased to inform you that you are very likely to be admitted to Cornell”. Engineering! not a minority, but 1st Generation!

Daughter got in today to CALS. From California.

@schroscat - I got in! :slight_smile:

@Anonymoose3 Congrats!

@FlyingLark it means you are accepted basically lol… unless you like commit a serious crime or get kicked out of school, you are accepted!!

what is the time stamp on the emails? Are they going out in waves??

email received at 5:33pm EST

email received at 5:01

Has any international student received any of those emails?

Hey guys, so far I got likely from Cornell (as WIE) and got waitlisted at Caltech and MIT; what would be my chance for other ivy schools and Stanford?

I should point out that I applied to CHE and I got a Diversity Letter, not a phone call, to those wondering earlier in the thread.

Oh ill give my stuff:
I applied to CHE, got the ambassadors email, and the email about decisions coming out 3/31 if anyone was wondering for next year.

I didn’t even receive this email about decisions coming out on March 31st… When did you receive it @CCSenioritis ?

Has anyone who applied o human ecology gotten one??
