So when I signed up for Cmail, I opted to send a copy of all my emails to a secondary address. Is there a way to deactivate this function? I feel like I am being extremely inefficient and cluttering my second email inbox.

go to the settings link (top right)
go to the FOWARDING AND POP/IMAP tab
click the option that says “disable fowarding”

see. it is disabled. I think all of the forwarding is done internally through Cornell and not through Cmail. Any other ideas?

what other email address are you using? is it gmail?

the email address that the mail is being forwarded to is a gmail account.

try and do the same thing for gmail, maybe under the accounts and import tab.

It’s probably Cornell email forwarding settings, not settings in Cmail. Go to whoiam.cornell.edu, and under the Electronic Mail tab remove the Gmail forwarding address.

This is indeed the reason
