PLZ PLZ I NEED TO KNOW REAL BADLY. AND WHAT I NEED TO IMPROVE

since you are a senior, there is not much you can improve.

however, i think you have a good shot at cornell. i have a friend like you who got in with a 1420 sat and a 3.67 gpa if that helps..

CMU - good chance
CORNELL-OK chance
JHU-decent chance
DUKE-decent chance
U OF M-good chance
EMORY-good chance

get a higher sat and SAT II score(s) and you should have nice chances with all of those schools

thank u so much. finally got some advice. wut sat scores shud my target be (minimum)

bump bump bump...

edit: my gpa is actually lower its more in the 85-87% range...how much will this affect...? :(:(:(

plz bump bump...my teacher recs are good but my average is low i need to noe plzzz plzzz...note: the highest average in my program is 91% so i am not that far off from top...im in top 10%/5%. can some1 give me some other univs to try...im too bz now and my list of ones i am applying is decreasing...will i get into cornell, cmu, or jhu with the above average

bump bump (10 chars)

ok i am going to be honest...
duke=alwful reach unless instate
cornell, jhu=reach...i know b/c i'm applying to jhu ed and i have a 3.67 1530/1600 sat...and that's still a reach for me...so i think its a reach for you also =(
umich...=looks basically only at gpa...lame school
CMU=match/safe =D gl!
emory...no idea sorry =D well gl!

oh...um...umich is a cool school...when i said lame i am being biased due to my low gpa =D gj for eveyrone who got accepted into mich...i'm actually probably going to apply there also LOL

for my lack of gpa what can save...and carnegie mellon is a match :D yes!!!

What, why does Duke instate matter? Its private they dont care where ur from as long as ur not an int'l asking for aid...and even then it does not matter as much.

so can someone tell me the chances...like which ones will i likely get into...i really dont want to go to u of toronto (in canada :0)

because duke is a private and receives money/donatiosn in the past from somewhere...i think they try to get people from thsoe specific places...i'm sorry i'm not familiar w/ duke never even bothered to look it up...however, i think because they received past donations from their own state people from out of state have a harder time getting in =D, heard this somewhere...probably not even accurate since i never bothered to reasearch duke as emphasized above lol =D

i think this is a specific instance for duke only though so all the above privates follows the guidelines on what ns347 has posted -D

bumpbump bump

bump bump cornell cornel...lol
