No APs, school only offers one, in English, which is my weakest subject, but otherwise i tried to take the hardest courses by taking enriched math and science, and taking higher grade level courses.

Your test scores are below average for cornell, although your GPA is quite good. While your EC"s are good, they are nothing extremely outstanding or unique except maybe the edinburgh thing.

the average is slightly low… From my school (Alberta), those who got into the US universities had overall 94-96 averages (unhooked, founded 1/2 clubs, valedictorians, etc), but out school presidents usually get in with a 91-93 avg (all years). So i dunno… Being class president really helps

@gummylemons, I think the grades in Manitoba are slightly inflated a bit, from Wikipedia, an A is 85+, which is 4.0. I don’t want to be president of student council, all they do is discuss their life during meetings, they dont do anything.

Obviously you need work on your test scores, but with good essays and good rec’s then you have a better chance. Its gonna be reach no matter what tho

@manas1997 Honestly I just studied like hell. I took an online kaplan course and constantly took practice tests. Also for Crit. reading, go over roots. I made some flashcards and those helped me so much.
