cornell decision email: wrong submitted date?

Yeah I agree Elysium.. the colleges each make their own decisions within their own committees, so it makes sense that they would just upload them independently which accounts for the overlap and stuff. Engineering's accepts are probably in the 1:00's, but i have no clue about the other schools from the parts of the thread i read :(

hey...i like all of you guys....so..hopefully we all get in. we can't just judge by the "already accepted".

Lol, ditto jl08. I liked some of the kids in there, but for the most part.. ah well. At least I feel slightly more confident about my own application now?

Ahhh i really hope we all get in too! We should definitely find each other once we're all on campus and moving in, and reminisce about how obsessive we were the night before decisions..

I'm kind of mad... cause after I was rejected from Duke and Rice I was really depressed...but eventually changed to apathy. I was very apathetic about the rest of my decisions...but now I feel invested in Cornell again....and i think its going to be depressing again to be rejected....

Before now, Cornell wasn't actually high on my list, but investing so much time in this thread has brought it up a few notches in my book.

crosses her fingers for all the CCers

lol... that's funny, Jen98. I'd have to agree, though...

everyone has to comment here after decisions come out tomorrow. even if it is bad news... just so we know who to try and track down next year if we get accepted. haha.

Next year, the admits should walk around campus with nametags that have their screenname on it.

Eek, I know what you mean. I only got rejected from one school so far, that I wasn't really even that interested in, but I still took it so badly. I deal terribly with rejection.. I got deferred back in december and that was hard enough, but if I got rejected from cornell i would be so dejected. I promised myself I wasn't going to get my hopes up just in case, but I can't help it..

Lol, I second Jen's idea of screenname badges.

most definitely...we could have like a CC time mystery thread reunion! It would be crazy fun

i wonder if we would all hit it off or if it would be extremely awkward

Only one way to find out!

would be kind of cool if your randomly assigned roommate was a CC member

Oh, how weird would it be to befriend someone from this thread and not realize it until later?

I think that I reported that i applied to CAS, but after looking at my information it is listed as CALS. So, Cornell only has me listed with one college choice and not my first choice. Time of my email was 12:33.

yeah that would be.. i kind of want a single though i think. i've heard they're better.. but i would love to have a cc suitemate!

and jmr.. did you have CAS as your first choice and CALS as an alternate? maybe you got rejected from cas and accepted into your alternate, which is why it has it listed instead.. i was a 1:44 from CALS so looks like its not good news for me :(

jen---probably a little of both...but i was never one to shy away from awkward situations. i find them hilarious.

yale has a thread with 8000+ posts, i dnt think we can beat that.
