Cornell(Econ) or USC(Policy Planning Development)

Where should I go, based on your opinions. I would get full tuition if I went to Cornell and I'm not sure about the money yet for USC. Is Cornell fairly weak in Econ? Does Cornell's ivy league status make that much of a difference? Is it easier to get into graduate school? Is the weather really that crappy in Cornell? I like the weather here in LA. I plan on having a career in real estate development. Things to think about for me. I also would be on their swim teams if I go them, if that makes a difference at all.

How would you get full tuition?!!?

I had a financial aid preread

op, you will not like the weather in Ithaca between Nov 1 and Apr 1 if you like LA weather. It's a real winter. But if you can get into it, it's great. I have NO idea what would be better for real estate dvlp. If you are going to be located in SoCal LT, I would think USC.

Is Cornell's econ program alright?

If you are considering a career in Real Estate in addition to the CAS Econ Department which is top notch, you may also want to check out the Hotel School and the AEM program in CALS.

<a href="http://aem.cornell.edu/%5B/url%5D">http://aem.cornell.edu/</a></p>

Also, you may want to be aware of Cornell's graduate program in Real Estate

I have heard great things about cornell econ. AEM is cornell's version of undergrad business school i think, and that has risen to incredible prominence in just a few short years since it's initiation. Hotel School is the best of the best in it's area and I have a friend there for real estate so I know you can get what you're looking for there too.

I don't know anything about USC.

Theres a pool right next to the freshmen dorms at Cornell if that makes you happy...

We have a real winter, with cold and snow...ask the weather question again in mid november so froshies like myself can inform you of our take on the weather.
