@cotopaxi ME!!! you totally get me. my mom is like maybe you’ll get deferred , and I’m like please… another 4 months of waiting, just kill me now. what school? I’m gonna assume CALS , with ur bio bone essay.
Also, if I get in… I’d love to meet up for a coffee!
I need some bible to go to sleep. Kant didn’t work. Lmao
@Existentialslump I may be able to help with that. Here’s an excerpt from my English assignment I’m trying to do right now: “First we take a universal negative with the terms A and B. If no B is A, neither can any A be B. For if some A (say C) were B, it would not be true that no B is A; for C is a B. But if every B is A then some A is B. For if no A were B, then no B could be A. But we assumed that every B is A. Similarily too, if the premiss is particular”
@Loyal0learner my horoscope looks bad for this coming week
LIT THIS THREAD FINALLY BLEW UP THANK GOD
ALRIGHT GUYS LET’S GET HYPE FOR CORNELL WHO’S WITH ME???
What are your thoughts on “sibling legacy”? My brother graduated with a CS degree from CoE this past May. I believe his GPA was somewhat decent; he didn’t fail any courses. I briefly mentioned my frequent visits to Cornell as a reason in my Cornell supplement. I applied to CAS. Could my brother benefit me in any way?
You can’t trust those… Half of what it says won’t even happen… Keep your cool!
@hamsamcam17 I actually applied CoE - biomedical engineering. @Existentialslump that’s pretty funny. I did almost fall asleep skimming that problem. I’m soooo done with HS. Bring on college, wherever it ends up being.
GUYS THIS WAIT IS KILLING ME
I’m dying of fright now. Before, I kinda had the “whatever happens, I’ll be okay” mentality. But now?! I’m shaking. Doesn’t help that I’m having multiple major tests in classes with borderline grades next week …
@cotopaxi that means you belong to Engineering! I never fall asleep trying to understand philosophical argument. I wonder if I really should go to CAS, and be a philosophy king all my life…
@Existentialslump that’s (partly) why I choose CAS over COE! If I don’t get in I swear my dad is going to say it’s because I spent too much time reading philosophy and not enough focusing on my grades.
@ebiersack same same same. we’ve got this, my friend.
Can I just take a second to say how thankful I am that everyone in this thread is extremely supporting for one another. Not to get sappy, but whatever happens on thursday, I am extremely proud of everyone’s efforts up til this point.
yes!! whatever happens, it will happen for a reason
@IBsleeping it is indeed refreshing to be on an internet forum for more than 5 minutes and not be insulted.
@ebiersack I am in the same boat as you are except now I am getting stomach cramps…
So superstitious that I am working on other essays. I’m telling myself that if I prepare my other applications, Cornell will accept me and all that work will be in vain. lets see what happens
