I applied for FA and updated at 5:23 am and 9:23 am yesterday…
I feel like some of you should just relax rather than read into little things like the time Cornell updated the portal… I mean idk. Think about it. It’s a time. Everyone’s portal updates regardless of decisions too. So just relax lol
did everyone get their email this morning
I know that it is easy to start looking into minute details, but trust me you will save yourself so much energy not stressing about something that has a 99% chance of not even having correlation
@dgarvaicde yes
I also appreciate this forum! I think all of us applied ED to our dream school and will be grateful if accepted! I hope there is room for all of us! And we can meet soon!
Good luck to everyone!
I hope the best for all of you on monday reading the forum has certainly been a good way to relieve stress throughout the process knowing that all of you are going through the same thing!!! For those of us lucky enough to get in, please keep everyone updated in the forum and hopefully we can meet at some point if we’re accepted. Best of luck everyone
Y is everyone talking like decisions r out in 5 min
Good luck!! I made this thread but I ended up not applying Early Decision
Why is there no decision thread for ED this year? The one where you put your stats and then update after you get your decision?
Isn’t this really that thread @rapscallion ?
@grotonMAdad Well I thought this was just discussion, in years past people had there stats and whatever, and then came back to update with decisions. Here are some examples:
so, on a different topic, would it be an indication that the gentleman who interviewed me, also talked about the dorms? I mean, are these alumnis aware of the decision? my interview was on December 4 and am assuming that Cornell AO had decision made at that time? guesses anyone?
The CAAANs are not notified of any decision until a day after we are notified
oh ok…I was wondering why is he even meeting with me when the decision is going to be out in less than a week. whats the point at that time? I mean Dec 4th is too late for alum interview…
Cornell has said the interviews are part of a benefit to the applicant to make them feel part of the process, and also answer applicants questions. If they don’t offer interviews to everyone, then they really can’t weight the results that heavilly
I think they extended a deadline for them to submit report.
I have never had an interview, and there are still 4 items in the “financial aid to do list” marked “initiated” as of right now, does it mean no hope for me?
@ningve Doesnt mean anything
