@Scorpion2000 @cmustang1 I just tried to google the blog I came across before but cant find it now. I think it was New York Times or MIT, sorry for the brain fog. Yeah, I think the blogger meant overall - fit and stats. I just like the blogger’s perspective - go BIG on RD schools, you never know!

@jeewaannnn I like you zen!

*fit and/or stats. Sorry for all the typos today, stayed up late to study for finals I-)

hello all! i applied to HumEc 2022~

anyways I’m posting rn actually as a coping mechanism

@chops00in What major Hum Ec? I applied there, too

And I. Which major in HE? I applied PAM.

I applied HE too, seems like there are a lot of applicants for HE this year…

@kiwifanatic What major?

How did you apply to Caltech and apply ED Cornell??? Isn’t that against every policy ?

I hear that sometimes they send out earlier than they say. Has anyone heard that? My friebd was suppose to hear from Middlebury Sat at noon but found out Friday night???

@danakaplan I was wondering the same thing :))

about the multiple EDs ^^

Will it be out early? I am sooo scared rn. Just want a closure so bad :frowning:

@danakaplan I have heard that some schools (including Middlebury, I believe) send their decisions out in waves. Some schools send decisions out in waves where the accepted students might hear first, then the deferred, etc (I think UMichigan is an example, except the accepted students hear later (Christmas Eve!). For some schools, they never send out an email about the official date of notification, and give a vague estimate (“by December 15th”). However, this does not, historically, seem to be the case for Cornell. Since they said Monday the 11th at 7pm, I think we should assume that we will be notified at (or within a few minutes of) that time.

@cmustang1 @danakaplan since Caltech doesn’t offer ED, I’d assume he probably applied EA. It is perfectly acceptable and entirely common to apply ED to one school and EA to a host of others. If accepted ED, the student would have to withdraw other apps that have already been submitted.

@fsadreamer Ah okay
