Cornell ED Class of 2023 Discussion Thread

Our is the same , no change yet, I guess they may be a little behind

My status hasn’t changed yet either. I am applying ED for the Dyson School. I am super nervous since acceptance is super low. Anyone know how many people apply and how many people they actually accept ED?

Emailed them, they said that it’s all fine and next week the checklist will appear. Always remember, people, they have to process a looooot of documents

@PV01 There’s a document I’ve seen online (my daughter has shown it to me) that breaks down the applicants by school and gender for last year (possibly even prior years) so if you look hard enough you should be able to find it.

Should I submit my 1st quarter grades for this year? also, if so should i just send them as supplemental material with my application. I applied ED to CALS.

did anyone receive their application checklist?

I received checklist

got checklist

I got a checklist too. Did anyone receive an email about Cornell University Recognition Program?

@PV01 yup got that too… probably means nothing though. Anyone have any info on that ??

I got one too but I don’t think that it means nothing! They wouldn’t just have everyone entered for it or else they would be dealing with 45,000+ nominees and that would be insane.

My daughter has the application checklist, however, when we log in to the portal to for the “financial aid to do list” that to do list is still blank. Does anyone know when information is going to show up on that list, and what information? The CSS is due in a week, but I want to make sure there isn’t anything else required that we need to do. We’ve completed the FAFSA and CSS, just need to upload one more set of documents they asked for.

Hey guys how long were your interviews?

As an alumn who does meetings, they typically run 30-45 minutes.

an alumn asked me if I would like to meet

Is anyone applying to SHA? I have only seen one person and it was in the beginning on the first page!! Super interesting & good questions because it helped answer lots of my questions lol

Anyone know when alums start scheduling confereces?? Kind of getting anxious and its Mid November already

My daughter has a alumni telephone interview yesterday and it lasted around 20min. It was very informal and mostly around getting to know her better.

She also got Cornell Recognition program email

S interview is scheduled for 45 minutes. S has been sent an email about joining CUinternationaladmissions.com a website for ‘prospective international students applying to CU’ .

premedguy2205, not everyone, in fact most people will not get a meeting or phone call is my understanding, they don’t have enough alums to cover all the applicants
