If you mean your acceptance, rejection or deferral, it’s at 7PM EST in your application portal.

A few days later you can login to your Financial Aid page and see your award. I believe they may email you first to say your award is available.

The checklist is gone.

Yes, my checklist is gone too.

My checklist is gone too. 8 hours.

I assume everyone’s has this statement now instead?

“Important Note for All Applicants
Cornell University requires official documentation as part of the application process. For students who are admitted and enroll, the Undergraduate Admissions Office verifies the authenticity of information submitted as part of the application process for a random sampling of entering students.”

It’s getting real everyone! Good luck. And, why does this page seem so dead considering they had over 9k applicants?

Reddit is much more active. There’s posts about Cornell ED like every minute and the early thread is very active.

Yeah but still not 9,000 people and there also you have some of the same people posting the same things over and over, like chance me repetitively. Same chance me people every week.

The time thing on the portal is gone.

Does everyone still have the supplemental info thing? I assume that’s staying for anyone who is deferred or accepted. No idea what happens when someone is rejected to the portal. Does it lock or just stay there indefinitely?

What supplement thing? That upload materials?
How do you figure that it’s not for rejected?

I mean, we can’t expect all 9000 applicants to post. I bet a majority of them have visited college confidential or reddit.

What I meant is, it’s probably still there for everyone, but once someone is rejected they wouldn’t have use for that anymore because they wouldn’t be submitting any supplemental information.

I guess it would really be for deferred candidates that need to supply more materials to show interest or if they won an award or something like that.

Counselors would be the ones to submit official grades so it wouldn’t be for that either.

Maybe, but reddit isn’t really that active anyway. At least the Cornell reddit thread isn’t.

Which thread are you looking at? There’s a new post made about Cornell every half hour or so. On the early megathread, there’s new comment every 5 minutes or so.

Anyone have the link for the megathread
