Firsttogo, Do you mean 1320 combined or 670 CR score? Either way, it looks like a good profile who’s gonna start the official decisions thread in December??

Did you guys sign the ED agreement on the common app?
“Finally, there are some other supplemental forms on the Common Application website, like the Early Decision Agreement, an Arts Supplement, etc. These are NOT required and we advise you NOT to submit these additional forms with your application. However, some of our majors, like architecture and art, do require additional forms, portfolios, or design indexes. Review the Freshman Application Requirements Grid to make sure you have all the required items for your intended major.”

dlekdms- i couldn’t find a separate ed agreement form on the common app for cornell. does sending in your application imply that you agree and understand that ed is binding, etc.(the ed agreement form) anyone?

The ED agreement form must be sent to the colleges. I found it under the “Forms” section of commonapp and filled it out and gave it to my guidance counselor.

is there no way to do it electronically?

if you go to the cornell supplement, under Application Details it says this
“By submitting your early-decision application, you are acknowledging that you fully understand and agree to the conditions of the early-decision plan as explained in the Cornell website. If accepted, you agree to withdraw any other college applications and pay the enrollment deposit as required. You understand that Cornell University reserves the right to withdraw an offer of admission if the conditions of the early-decision plan are not met.”
is that just the ed agreement form if you’re sending in the commonapp electronically?

dingdongbell, I meant 1320. Not very happy with it. I got a 750 on writing, but I don’t think admissions looks at that.

Are other people willing to share their stats here? I’m particularly interested in borderline folks like me. Hope we make the cut.

I did the ED agreement online as described by xceagles.

dawnofthetiger, I’m applying to 1st: CAS (Chemistry) Alt: CALS (Environmental).

jpd282, thanks for the support (I need it while I wait). Good luck to you too!

Application in. Good luck everyone!
Applied CAS no alternate.

ugh can’t wait for december 15!

Wasn’t it the 9th last year?

I thought we got decisions somewhere between the 8th-10th but I could be wrong. Does anyone else think it seems like there are a disproportionate number of ILRies on these boards though? Its making me nervous haha

on december 15th, where do we check our admission status?

Iluvskool I absolutely noticed that, there are an insane number of people applying to ILR. Even at my school a lot of kids are applying to ILR (80+ kids applied to cornell last year from my school, for reference) and this year it looks like a LOT of them are ILR.

likes like very few CoE applicants this year :D

so freaked out, submitting my application tonight for CAS / Engineering!

Hey everyone! PAM ED applicant here.

anyone know when we are able to check the status of our applications? has anyone gotten an email/account or anything? I just submitted Sunday morning.

Submitted my application sunday. Hopefully I didn’t forget anything lol. Good Luck to all of you guys. :)

I sent in my ED App a couple weeks ago… just couldn’t wait!

I even had an interview with an alumni yesterday. You will get an ID from Cornell a week or so after you apply. That ID will let you know your status for Cornell’s Application process. But really, until December 15th… we are all in the dark.
