Cornell ED for Class of 2016!?

Submitted my stuff this weekend already for CoE, no alternates. I hope I get in, I really want to go out of state!

My english teacher still hasn’t started filling out the common app recommendation ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and everything else was submitted weeks ago

lol, still have to submit my stuff :x

Im applying ED for the college of engineering! I’m scared, I submitted everything today. All I have left is to send my additional information to the post office. Good luck to you all!

How do you get an interview? It says on the Cornell site that they don’t give interviews.

Submitted Yesterday!
does anyone know if cornell asks for first quarter grades ed?

Submitted last week for CALS and CAS as alternate! Do all decisions come in at December or you can get a decision earlier?

@rolexer24, interviews are for Student applying to ILR and the Hotel school only (I think)

Eek good luck to all of us! this is going to be a long month…

@dingdonbell and @rolexer24: Taken from Cornell’s site:
“Interviews are only required by…
the Architecture program in the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning (freshmen and transfers)
the School of Hotel Administration (freshmen and transfers)
the School of Industrial and Labor Relations (transfers only)”

I applied to ILR as my primary and Hotel as an alternate. Interviews by alumni are totally random and only occur if there is availability. If you apply to hotel as your alternate, you don’t have a mandatory interview either. Instead you fill out a questionnaire.

Applied for CAS, no alternate. It feels great having this application out of the way :D

It really does, I was worrying so much about it but now that’s out of the way. Do I have to send my SAT scores through CollegeBoard as well?

^Yes you do. All scores.

I’m applying ED to ILR. It seems a little weird that almost every person I saw was applying to ILR as well. This isn’t normal, is it?

I would also like to know if Cornell asks for first quarter grades. I know they do it for at least some applicants, but do they do it for all?

Did Cornell extend early decision deadline to Nov 2 or 3?

I can’t find anything official on it from the Cornell website.

[The Daily Pennsylvanian :: Early decision deadline extended due to snowstorm](Early decision deadline extended due to snowstorm | The Daily Pennsylvanian)

Does anyone know if the extended deadline applies to all applicants or only those in the Northeast region of the US?
Thanks

It applies to all applicants.

I just realized my parents financial information wasn’t submitted for early decisions…got to do it today.

Ahh, I submitted mine 11/1 to the AEM/business program. I did last minute essays the weekend of though… so fingers crossed! Good luck to everyone, and I’ll be back on December 15th (I believe) to join the ED frenzy. :)

So… I applied ED to ILR. I sent in my ACT score from my best sitting, and a math SAT subject (for my Hotel Alternate). Was I supposed to send all my other scores from tests that I have taken? I took the ACT’s twice, the SAT Reasoning once, and 2 other subject tests in addition to my math.
