has any transfer student recieve their cornell email/user name yet?

has any regular student received their e-mail yet?

We don't yet have access to our email accounts, but you can find out what it will be by doing a people search of yourself.

ha! sweet! dpo4@cornell.edu ... er, that's what it will be.

i'm not even listed

<---Transfer
<---Hasn't recieved email or ID
I think that's during orientation?

really? shoot.... that's a long wait....

also... have you recieved your cornell bound packet and filled out those forms?

yeah, i've received the cornell bound packet. I sent in my deposit a while ago, maybe why i have a listing.

I got the packet and sent it in. I mean, I people searched myself and I'm khb4...but I can't really do anything with that, you know? I wish that we could register for classes and stuff sooner.

i haven't recieved the packet yet but i'm filling out the forms online. so we can't register until orientation?

Man that sucks. What if we can't get a class we need.

shrug Wait until next semester, I guess. Of course, with all the course that Cornell offers, it probably won't be hard finding second choices to fill in any gaps :)

ahhh, just got my student ID and everything in the mail today!!!

dpo4@cornell.edu ... totally

the Cornell portal thingy is really cool! tons and tons of information and stuff. it's all pretty easy to navigate, Cornell does a good job of making it easy.

Is the password computer generated? Or is it our social security, DOB or something like that?

Oh yeah, if you scroll down, it shows the date which the profile was created. I believe not too long after your acceptance, your ID will be generated.

As for the Cornell bound forms, why wait when you can do it all online? The only exception is if you a) send in the picture via snail mail or b) part II of the health form.

you create your own password (which believe it or not is actually difficult ... they really want to make sure nobody will ever guess what it is). But, to do this you need the PIN # they send you in the packet.
