<p>Hey guys. This is my first post here, but I've been lurking throughout this whole process. How great is it to finally be into Cornell. The best thing about it is that my two best friends got in as well (both arts and sciences).</p>

<p>I guess i just want to learn a little bit about the people i am going to be spending 4 years with.</p>

Major: Civil engineering most likely</p>

<p>About me: I run both varsity and cross country and track for my high school. best 5k is 17:03 and best mile is 4:36, though no where near good enough to run for Cornell. I'm really looking foreward to being able to pursue other interest other than competetive running (though i plan on continuing to run on my own) but who knows what these interests may be.</p>

<p>A rule for this thread: no stats because they don't matter to us anymore!</p>

<p>About me: I suck at sports but I will give it a try in college... I'm from FL but I think I will be ready for the snow~ after all I came to the states from China 5 yrs ago^^ and my city snows : ) I am pretty determined about Engineering, but I want to take courses at other colleges too (still trying to find out if I can or not). I want to take spanish again and permit it to torture me for the next 4 yrs too.. or maybe i will take French or German^___^ I heard German is easy! I will stop b4 it gets too long... Looking forward to meeting all of you! And once again, congrats!</p>

<p>I'm really excited to meet everyone and just end high school all together. I took/taught karate for 8 years, and have been involved in the theater at my high school as a stage manager for the last three and a half years. I'm not sure if I'll have time to continue with the theater as an engineer, but I'll give it a try.</p>

<p>Hey I also run cross country and track and my times are very similar (17:08 5k and 4:34 mile)... kind of funny and I'm from the Burgh. I might have raced you some time.</p>
