I attended CURIE Academy this past summer, and it was an amazing experience, so I really encourage all of you to apply if you have even a bit of an interest in engineering. If I'm being honest, before I attended the summer program, I was very unsure on whether I would major in an engineering science (I was interested in majoring in chemistry, but that's about it), and now I'm a prospective computer science major. And all because of CURIE and another summer program I did a couple of weeks afterwards. (CURIE and CATALYST are very similar, btw)

**btw, the cost is rather high, BUT I got almost completely full financial aid, so don't be scared to apply if you think your family can't afford it! (I literally only had to pay ~$75.)

I could not find what’s the criteria for selecting or the cost. Where do I find it? Thanks for posting it, sounds interesting.

This is the information for cost… As for criteria of selecting, you just have to be in the right grade (CURIE= sophomore or junior; CATALYST= Freshman, sophomore, or junior), and have at least a 3.0 GPA. How they select from that group probably goes by established interest in science and engineering. :)

Tuition and Financial Assistance

CURIE Academy tuition, which includes room, board, and research supplies, is $1450 and is payable after notification of acceptance.
Financial assistance for tuition and/or travel is available based upon demonstrated need.

Submit the Application for Financial Assistance in conjunction with applying for CURIE Academy.

Financial assistance awards will be included with the notification of acceptance.

To apply for financial assistance, submit the following:

@awkpenguin- how did you like the program? What was a typical day?
