Did anyone ask and answer their own question? I'm considering it and I wanted to know how popular this is and what kinds of questions are asked. Do you think it would be horrible if I tried to mold a question that I used for Penn and Common App if I changed the question a bit so that it's not identical to the Common App and Penn essays? The essay itself is good (what I've heard from others) if that makes a difference.

By the way... I'm applying for transfer admission (March 15) if it matters.

Yeah I didn't apply transfer but I didn't answer a common app question I just talked about my musical growth over the years from banging an 8 pitch keyboard to AP music theory. I got in ED

Hey man, I meant to tell you this before but I forgot to. AEP tends to take transfers. I know for a fact there are 3 transfer students out of a graduating class of ~40.

Yeah I wrote about "anything" for the common app - talked about me being a twin and how hard its gonna be to leave him after spending 18 years of my life so close to him but saying that college is gonna help me mature even further. And I forget what the supplemental "essays" (more like statements) they asked for.

I wrote my own essay too. It was another excuse to elaborate on my interest in hospitality (duh), but it was more in the form of a short story. Wow, there definitely seems to be a trend with ED acceptances and not using the Common App topics!
