Best of luck for those getting a descision today, this week and next week have historically been rejection weeks with a few acceptances.
PIN trick did not work for me. I’m not a GT and I applied to CAS at the beginning of March.
@thehoff007 Do you have a source for that? I’m not getting mine this week, so its bringing my hopes up a bit.
@mualphabot If you look at the thread from last year, you see tons of rejections. Whether this is actually rejection week is completely unknown (I think). I assume this week and next week is when they release the largest number of decisions and with such a low acceptance rate it looks like most are rejected. I could be wrong though, rejection week could be real… which is why I’m a little excited my decision isn’t available today.
@mualphabot lots of people are saying that because of last year’s transfer thread. I’m not sure how true it is, especially since definitely not everyone who applies is on/posts on CC, but of those who did, that seemed to be the trend.
@mualphabot I’ve read through a lot of the previous Cornell transfer threads from different years. It seems that the second and third tuesday of May tend to have the most acceptances, especially for CALS.
Just accepted! How did everyone else fare?
The letter says “Very soon, you will receive our Welcome packet that will contain your official letter of admission and information about housing and dining, as well as financial aid”, as well as a link to the enrollment confirmation page. So pending financial aid info, hopefully see some of you on campus this fall!
