Cornell Fall 2018 Transfer Thread

Accepted - Dyson

NO GT.

@DPCASEY Congrats! do you mind posting your stats?

@DPCASEY Could you post your stats? Thanks

@DPCASEY congrats! Which program, AEM?

Anyone applying to ILR get their decision yet?

GPA - 3.5 ??

Rejected, no surprise. Kinda see this coming. Let me know if anyone’s interested in my stats

@yolos1066 which college did you apply to

@ChadisWack @DBaf20 I don’t believe we will get our decisions until very late in the game. Looking at the thread from last year it seems like engineers (if you applied to COE and not CALS or something) will be amongst the last students to get their decisions. I think they just take a longer time to sort through and decide on candidates because it is one of the most selective colleges in Cornell.

Are decisions done being sent out today? Want to know if I can stop checking my inbox

Is it possible that international transfer will receive the decision later than domestic? I am an international student in an out-of-state CC. I’ve tried the pin trick but it didn’t work.

@DPCASEY congratulations my dude! did you get an email? I applied AEM and still am confused on how we check decision

rejected today, CAS. Kinda surprised since I worked SO damn hard for this. But congrats to you all get accepted and good luck to those that havent heard back!

Hey, guys! I have 3 questions I’d really appreciate an answer to!

  1. How many of you sent your SAT scores to Cornell? (I saw it was not required and when I talked to an admissions counselor last week, they said my application is already in review so I would have to send a Score Report. She said that doing so might possibly delay my review at this point. I just want to make sure I am not at any “disadvantage” as apparently half of the transfer students have sent scores, while the other half haven’t.)
  2. Did those who were accepted get an email notification before?
  3. Did those who were accepted try to Pin Trick the night before and have success with it?
    Thanks a ton in advance!

@clairen I’m sorry! Your hard work will get you to great places, don’t give up!! Everything happens for a reason (as much as I know that is frustrating to hear)!

@transferunkown hi! yes, I sent my SAT and subject test scores to Cornell, as well as AP scores. I got an email notification around 11am, but I had tried the pin trick earlier this morning and was able to log on right at 10.
